AAC Coldfront is a hard red winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivar with broad adaptation and excellent performance in all production areas of western Canada. Eligible for grades Canada Western Red Winter (CWRW) wheat, was evaluated the Canadian Wheat Cooperative registration trials relative to CDC Buteo, Emerson, Moats Elevate. Based on 32 replicated over 3 years (2017/18-2019/20), produced significantly more grain than checks (108–115%) at protein concentration similar check mean, demonstrated an improved capacity convert soil water nutrients into under wide range field conditions. expressed very good survival, medium late maturity, short moderate height, lodging resistance, high test weight. rated resistant stem, leaf stripe rust, intermediate resistance Fusarium head blight, susceptible common bunt.
